Privacy Policy

This explains how DSB Plastering & Wall Insulation Ltd ("DSB", "we") handles the information you give us through this website. If anything is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, details of the work, property type, budget, preferred timing, contact preference and the photographs you upload. If you use Dan AI, our website assistant, the messages you type are processed to generate replies.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, assess the work, prepare a quote and arrange the job. If you tick the optional updates box we may occasionally contact you with news or offers; you can ask us to stop at any time.

How enquiries are handled

Enquiries and photos are stored in a private, access-controlled database and file store. Only authorised DSB staff can view them. When an enquiry arrives, an email notification with your details and secure, time-limited photo links is sent to DSB's own inbox.

Service providers

We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated advertising. We use service providers to run the website and handle enquiries, and they process information only to provide those services: website hosting and database/file storage (Lovable Cloud), email delivery (Resend), Google (for showing our Google reviews) and an AI service used to generate Dan AI replies and short internal summaries of enquiries.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses essential browser storage to work — for example, remembering your cookie choice and keeping a Dan AI conversation open as you move between pages. We don't currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details and photos for as long as reasonably needed to deal with the enquiry and any work that follows, and for our business records. If you'd like your enquiry deleted, just ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent for updates. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
